Collector's Folk is a specialist dealer in all things connected with folk and folklore.

Although I deal mainly in previously cherished (second-hand) books and carefully pre-owned (second-hand) records I also buy and sell paintings, prints, photographs and first-day covers.

I have a particular interest in Topic Records, Folkways Records, the Watersons, Martin Carthy, Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger, and folk records from the folk revival that took place from about 1956 onwards. I am also interested in any music by traditional singers including song and music collections. I am also quite a fan of folk rock groups such as Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Oysterband and the Albion Band in its various guises. Of more modern performers I like the Hush, Spiers and Boden, and Roberts and Lakeman.

As well as book and record lists by email I will also undertake to seek out any record or book from a wide network of contacts at no obligation to you.

I am anxious to deal as fairly as possible. I like to use the speed of modern communications as an aid. Email me with details of any item you are interested in, and I will supply as much detail as possible on any item before purchase. I can send digital photographs of the item with any particular points of note highlighted. Send payment – I accept Paypal which is a secure method of payment by credit card, cheques drawn on UK banks only and cash in UK pounds, Euros or US Dollars. The item will be posted once payment has arrived.

I offer a guarantee that if you are not happy with an item then return it to me for a full refund including your postage.

I also attend folk festivals and Morris weekends with the groups I belong to. These are Sheffield City Morris and the Sheffield City Giants, so if you see either of these groups at a festival I usually carry some books with me.
